- The video and its redirect chain must be public and available without cookies.
- Submit one video, not a profile, sound page, hashtag, or feed.
- Short links must remain valid long enough for asynchronous resolution.
- Do not retry a removed or restricted video indefinitely.

Should I store the short URL?+
Prefer storing the canonical video URL or ID after resolution so duplicate shares are easier to detect.
