Transcribe Skool Videos with FastTranscriber
Transcribe Skool classroom and community videos. Paste the video's public link or upload a downloaded copy to get an accurate transcript with timestamps. Here is a quick guide to completing the process with FastTranscriber:
Step 1: Start for Free
Open FastTranscriber and begin with the free daily allowance. No account or credit card is required.
Step 2: Paste the Public Video Link or Upload the Video
FastTranscriber cannot open skool.com pages, so paste the video's own public YouTube, Loom, Vimeo, or Wistia link into the already-selected "Paste link" tab. If the video is private or was uploaded directly to Skool, download a copy you are allowed to use and switch to "Upload file."
Step 3: Transcribe the Skool Video
Click "Transcribe" and FastTranscriber will turn the lesson's spoken audio into searchable text with timestamps.
Review the transcript, then copy it or download TXT for text and SRT for timestamped subtitles.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I transcribe a Skool video?
If the lesson video is hosted on YouTube, Loom, Vimeo, or Wistia and is public, open it on that site (usually from the logo or title in the video player), copy its link, paste it into the link box above, and select Transcribe. If the video is not public, download a copy you are allowed to use and switch to the Upload file tab.
Can I paste a skool.com lesson link?
No. FastTranscriber cannot import skool.com pages, even from public groups, and lessons in private groups are only visible to members. Paste the public link of the video itself, or download the video and upload the file.
Which video links work?
Links that play without signing in: public or unlisted YouTube videos, Loom videos shared with anyone who has the link, and public Vimeo or Wistia videos. Videos that require a login or only play inside Skool cannot be imported by link, so download them and upload the file instead.
What if the video was uploaded directly to Skool?
Videos uploaded directly to Skool cannot be imported by link. Download a copy you are allowed to use, or upload the original recording if you created the course, then transcribe it from the Upload file tab.
Can I export a Skool video transcript as SRT?
Yes. Export the completed transcript as timestamped SRT for captions or TXT for editable plain text.
